i suppose it's a if(!$textinthebox) error();
where a string "0" is interpreted as false in php.
better try an if($textinthebox === NULL)

Minor correction for this prod-
23 byte parallax starfield

As is, the download link works fine because I noticed my mistake and put up another file up to match the link... but I meant for the download link to reference MWSTAR.ZIP (yes, MWSTAR :)) rather than MYSTAR.ZIP. If this is fixed, I'll delete MYSTAR.ZIP.

@keops
There was a kind-of complaint about planethively getting icons for platforms where the port wasn't tested, but since the untested ports are clearly identifiable by their location in the "untested/" directory, and that people are invited to try them and report back, and that having the icon got the attention of potential testers, the complainant was subsequently happy, so i don't think you have to worry.

The download link in this is broken. It should be http://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/Groups/S/Sinners/Sinners-Uld1988
Pigpen : done

Please remove 23 byte parallax starfield. Pirx had understandable concerns about me modifying the readme from an earlier 24 byte version. It was also unclear that I was involved with the 24 byte version as well, and the overall attribution is questionable since the 24 byte version was released with only the main guy having the formal credit.

I can't see any politically acceptable way of putting the 23 byte version up.. so perhaps I'll re-add the 24-byte version in it's original form and credit, and post a patch suggestion in the comments.

On prodpage I have just asked, to have the issue clear. It's nothing wrong with adding smaller version, especially if you were involved in creating this intro, but I think you should NOT modify the original files and don't add it to pouet under different name. My suggestion is to not remove prod, but change the name to the proper one ("Tiny Parallax Starfield"), and update archive - it should contains original files, and your new 23B version with some new explanation-infofile in subdir for example (maybe also pascal's version in another subdir), that would be reasonable way.

Yeah, that's pretty much the plan. I'd still prefer to that with a fresh start, since it includes my name for posterity and I want to do it right.

Well, the comments are still rolling in on the prod. May as well keep it all. I'll update the zip file. It's probably good to rename it to Tiny Parallax Starfield too.

Updated the zip for http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=50649. The 23-byte version is now found in its own directory and text file. The 24-byte version and its text file are unmodified. Please ignore my earlier instructions and rename it to Tiny Parallax Starfield.

This is a sequel of that, and that is a sequel of this... if you know what I mean. It probably helps cross linking those prods.

keops: what about the screenshot i've posted about above?
added on the 2008-06-05 01:21:30 by unic0rn unic0rn
unic0rn : it doesn't really look like the prod you submited whereas the current screenshot does. What's with all that added blur ?
added on the 2008-06-05 01:23:14 by keops keops
no blur. it's scaled from 320x200 (it's 13h after all) up to 400x300 which is max size (and that corects aspect ratio as well). current screen is from C/windows gdi version :/
