Well you heard scamp. EP/Magic/Adok trio didn't do any harm to me personally but again, for me scamp is far more credible than those guys so I don't think he's lying or exaggerating the facts.
I agree, Scamp seems like a cool and credible guy and probably has his issues, but as others have said, this mob mentality is not that different to playground bullying.

Without disrespecting anyone's opinion (and I do know that some of you have loads more personal experience and stories to tell about ep/adok/magic etc.) I have to say that from my own point of view, the three guys should not be grouped together under the hugi umbrella (although it is one link)...
I agree that sociopath EP has probably the emotional age of a toddler and put into trouble some sceners in the past. I would best avoid to agitate him more, there is nothing to prove to this guy, he is in his own ugly universe (him and his 5 girlfriends as he used to say)...
Adok is a mystery to me. I haven't met him in person although I've read the stories (his own about himself as well as from others about him). Dispite his obvious vices (but then again who are we to judge) the guy has contributed his bit to the scene. Like it or loath it the hugi *is* one of the very few discmags still around and I bet most of you spend at least 5 mins on each new edition. Sure there is alot of ego-crap to filter out (not only from royal hugi but also from others - remember optimus and his verbal diarrhea) but there is also the odd party report and production review that can make an interesting read. And judging from the latest edition, it was getting better.
Magic - I also don't know much about magic but he strikes me as a very passionate person about his hobby - that hobby being pouet.net and the non-productive part of the scene. No problem with that. I noticed that he can brake other peoples balls by asking the same nonsensical questions again and again. Nevertheless, he approached me a while ago about 2 articles he was making for hugi and wanted my involvement. There was a very long round (2 months!) of email exchange with questions and answers from me about our demos or something like that. I must say he was very professional, not pushing too much and also very polite. Beyond that, he is also a gloperator which means that he has done his bit for the collection of information for this site. In other words I think that it is in his hands to cast away the 'fool of the village' aura that he gathered around him recently. He must be a nice guy, but, alas, a bit misguided in some of his actions.
that's all I had to say but I do acknowledge that some other people in this forum may know alot better than me and so their actions (bringing down hugi.scene or whatever) are justified...

No apologys to those who were harmed by your team member, no public apology on the Hugi website, no warning on the Hugi website that EP is still telling others he's part of Hugi and people should stand clear of him... nothing.
No damage control whatsoever, not the slightest sign of any kind of morale shining through, exactly zero attempts to help out.

I dont agree with it at all. The scene should be about friendship not trolling and flaming around. I like making diskmags and writing articles (since 1992) I do my best to make a good diskmag..
So let it be known I dont support Hugi any longer, I dont want to be involoved any longer in quarrels like this. I think they are stupid and without respect. There are no winners only losers.. And the demoscene doesnt benefit from it in anyway.. Sure we dont need all the time to agree with eachother but this is senseless.
I wish to stay nutral and I am not involved any longer..
