I *hope* Italy will sink under the ignorance of this future new government. Because we deserve it.
Let's face it: the majority of Italians are a people of tv-brainwashed-dumbasses without memory.
We have no idea of the priorities: we choose who consider mafia just a sicilian problem and not -as it is- an Italian and international issue... we choose who say that "it takes to live with mafia because there always has been so why bother"... (when organized criminality is the most healty Italian "corporation" with estimated income of *7%* of the Italian internal gross product)
We choose who makes laws for his own interest... who claims that immigrants are the root of all evil... who says that judges are all communists... who brainwash people saying we have to fear our own neighbour...
That's what we deserve: EPIC FAIL.

still, even with Berlusconi at lead, i fear less from Italia than Finland or Russia or China on the fascist scale.
The problem here is not fascism. The problem is populism, ideologized neoliberism and opportunism from people who don't give a fuck, for instance, about the precary work conditions of the young. Italy is a country that is becoming old. Berlusconi is 71. The managerial class is old.
