so you can be underground superstar in usa when you rip atari music ? woah. i think i'm moving to usa :D
btw dubmood/crazyq, did any of you get in touch with the solipsitic nation podcast guy? he'd be happy to interview you, i posted his contact a few pages back.
Iblis: nice links. on these pages you can find table with ripped/original titles:
1 Rock!! Hard!! / Nightvision / CrazyQ
2 Mission for Glory / Haschkaka / Dubmood
3 C: Dancer / Cybernetic Dancer / DMA-SC
4 Phat and Phunky Pt. 1 / Phat and Phunky Pt. 1 / CrazyQ
5 Zipp Zapp / Zip Zap Space Attack / CrazyQ
6 They’re back!!! / Return of the Fighters / DMA-SC
7 Sid Attax / Atari Attacks / CrazyQ
8 Return of Da Stomp / Local Hero / CrazyQ
9 Punk Funk / Pink Phunk Monster / CrazyQ
10 Nightdrive / Stars of the Night / DMA-SC
11 T-girl Dancing / T-Girl / Lotek Style

Laromlab was quick to replace "haschkaka" by "mission for glory". He probably didn't know what a T-girl is, then ;)

Album released on Mushpit Records 12 febuary 2008 is made up entirely of ripped tracks. The album was pressed in 1000 copies, about 400 promo copies was sent to radio stations, blogs and press. The rest was sold on tour, on itunes, napster, amazon, and similar online vendors, aswell as being sold through the labels homepage and Laromlabs myspace page/homepage
Oh year, all that story is a BIG deal.
It could even be just one copy.
7 Sid Attax / Atari Attacks / CrazyQ
WHAT THE FUCK????????????????????????
WHAT THE FUCK????????????????????????
i wonder how he played the fucking shows? winamp press play?
@crosbow
I'm guessing he did pretty much what he did in his "how i make chiptunes" youtube video, i.e. load up some tracker programs on his laptop with their sound turned down, start them running while playing the actual song in the background, and then randomly click buttons in the trackers while pointlessly twiddling knobs on the other equipment.

lol xD
But seriously. The qualitylevel of the avg chipmusic made by other american chipartists (all on gameboy apperantly) is so friggin low, that if this laromlab had done music(not chip) before as he stated, and had the slightest knowledge and experience, it wouldnt been hard to beat it. I mean, have you listend to what they release over there? 4 note basslines on a 125bpm beat with untuned arrpegios and random notepunched melodies. press reproduce X 10. the guy must just be really lazy.
Virt is american nah?
