Brainf*ck performance
category: general [glöplog]
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has info on performance while using Brainf*ck. Is it worthwile using it in demo type code?
yes but i'd still use some inline assembly in the time critical parts.
I'd suggest using any other language for almost all parts.
first you probably need to work around the fact that almost any O(1) algorithm is O(n) in bf..
If you compile it, it's fast.
If you interpret it, it's slow.
If you interpret it, it's slow.
