It's my sad duty to report that MeteoriK aka Meaty^Approximate was stabbed tonight in a London street while refusing to give a cigarette to a passing thug.

He actually survived, but his shirt was ruined and he had to call the police. It'll probably heal, but at least we can say that he has a nice tight gash. He also managed to kick the guy in the face, so let's have a round of applause for real oldschool scene spirit!

Okay, parapete said I'd get massively slated for putting 'RIP' in the title of this thread, so I'll say now that I'm sorry.

However, this is a really shit thing to happen and as anyone who's been attacked at random in the street by a guy with a knife or gun knows, you're millimeters away from death and a genuine RIP thread. I'm glad Meaty's pretty much fine, as I'm sure is everyone else who knows him, and who met him at Breakpoint last weekend. We'd like to see him there again next year. I don't mean to diminish the seriousness of genuine RIP threads in any way, so again, I'm sorry.
