Where is that "Rob is Jarig" I keep hearing about?

Working great in the states. Maybe you can share your tech with TPOLM. Love their LSV broadcasts.

The tech is probably some server software we can't really afford yet at TPOLM ;)

Music in Melrose Space fell over again multiple times. Everything before that was fine.

It does get really jerky when there is a lot of activity on screen, but can't tell whether it's just those encodes being crappy. The STS demo for example was about 5fps throughout, but Hard Rox was quite smooth.
Melrose Space got jerky at the spinning golden morph ball thingie.

Also, crazy macroblocking DDD:

But this is better than nothing, at least it doesn't keep cutting off like the DTV streams always have done for me. Good work :)

Blah, I can't watch it... maybe it's my connection (2mbit cable modem)

we need more testers. Tell all your friends (well, only if they'll read/connect within the next 15 minutes, that is). Right now we've got 200 Users on the stream. We want more. Also: Feel invited to open the stream in multiple browser windows if you've got enough bandwidth.

The jerkiness seems to come from the VP6 encoder which gets all wonky as soon as too much is moving. It's not that it draws too much CPU, it's more like "oooh, so much going on, let's skip frames to be safe".

We're working on it. :)

sound is almost 1 second late compared to the visuals (I did not notice it till I saw State Of Mind's wrong sync with the music)

..325 users now :)

Keops: in my case it's about 7-8 seconds ;)

works fine.

The STS prod was a little slow, the prod before it had to re-buffer a bit with the stream. But Hard Rox was fine, so were Melrose Space and State of Mind. The speedy parts in Trash suffers a from the encoding but it's alright otherwise. Live Evil looks great.

Good job.

(yeah, we'll see if we can get the encoder to prefer lower image quality over low fps when there is a lot of action on screen)

a/v sync is spot on here, and I have 5 browser windows open without any problems.

didn't notice any significant lag of the sound before, and it's perfectly in synch on Live Evil

And we still need more users! Come on guys, open the stream in as many browser windows your bandwidth/pc is able to handle :)

and another thing there SHOULD be another cam OUTSIDE,. infrared to catch what's going on outside
I guess it won't affect too many people but it doesn't work on 1Mbit/ADSL :(

Bandwidth is fine, but 3x viewings is the max my shitty CPU (and the Flash VP6 decoder which is seemingly written in ActionScript or something... ;)) can handle it seems.
Shame mplayer doesn't understand RTMP otherwise I could just run it with -vc null 100 times over :)
