Stuff you must code before you die

Ok, so a voice synth for the VIC-20 is already done, what other insane projects should people be doing?

the universe.
something.
Indeed, a scener's game which is not called "The sims" but it's now called "The sins" or "The scenes" is something I was dreaming of start coding since 2003 (I had discussed it in an older pouet thread). You would choose scener name, sex, age, characteristics, year to start the scene and first computer and you should mix up with your motivation levels and real life burden and try to finish a demo in time, then visit demoparties and talk to other sceners, etc, etc. LOL!
Opti: So, what's keeping you from starting coding it? =)
A mouse tracker :P
Optimus: a scener can be non-male?! :)
The Matrix, of course.
src: not possible, girls don't "code" when they're near computers....they just take their tits and vaginas out. haven't you sen the "RANDOM GIRL WITH HARDWARE THREAD"???
The 4k version of Lifeforce
@-=skope=-: I must first code an algorithm to cure laziness ;P
I don't know about Lifeforce in 4k but Doom III on Z80 full speed/full detail is quite possible by using the techniques found in this demo.
a path tracer. it's a positively enlightening experience (no pun intended).

A montecarlo bitcode generator with bitcode interpreter and maximum execution time to use it as atomic neural net (artificial column). Then an hierarchical artificial column net.

A working 3d engine for a Microwave.
