but only when it's about demoscene. With non-sceners I'm often not talking about computers at all. And in opposite to the most sceners I'm watching very intense how much (and fast) this world goes more and more down the drain. Thank you to a greedy and egoistic society.

This seemed to be a question for me. I am very depressed to answer right now :(

I have no life, I had a fight with my parents and my big brother again (who still tend to be a clone of them :P) and my last point is Erasmus, but I am too anxious to take care of accomodation and anything needed to drive me away from them. But I will for sure cause I have to be there. Or else, things might get worse. I just discovered today that the situation with my parents is much worse than I thought. With my big brother, the 3 of them and me alone, my small brother is living in his girlfriend,. I am alone against a brute force. The only way is escaping through a middle road. I'll have to go to Germany this exam, I'll take care what's needed. Sorry. I will answer more thoughtfully another time, it's interesting for me. But I will write too much again too then..

I'm old enough to remember when this was used as a form of vilification, and punk enough to want to kill people who believe I am one.

However I have friends who feel it's a compliment who feel comfortable with me because I can be like them. I'm also capable of hanging with people who don't care about computers. For some reason though the whole computer thing comes up waaaaay too often (as in "why do people write viruses" and "should I get a firewall?")...

And I've heard from complete fuxwitz who argue that since I know that the term geek actually means 'sideshow freak who bites the heads of chickens' that I must therefore be one. I haven't killed them yet because of the anonymous nature of the internet, but when that bash.org fork is invented...

So, I don't consider myself one, nor do I consider anyone else here one. I consider myself and others here sceners, and that's the label I'm sticking with.
