Irvin,Gloom,Lug00ber: Have you produced this track for Sugarbabes :DD
Say what ya like, I think its a nice track....I get a "newskool demomusic" feel from it.

tft: I can't speak for Irvin or lug00ber of course, but no. :) Still; "8-bit sound" is so hot right now, if any scene musician wanted to make a name for himself, now is the time to call your agents.
The track is a little dull for my taste though - if I had any say in the production, I would not have gone for the "eternal refrain"-forumula that's so popular these days, and actually stuck a little more melody in there, along with a bitch-ass bridge part. Also; the vocals are... well, just bland. Soulless. I'd much rather work with someone who has some expression in her voice, like Kirstie Hawkshaw, Lou Robinson or Imogen Heap.

Btw; the only track on the last Sugababes albumt that's even remotely interesting (meaning; on a scale from 1 to 10 it's something like 3), it's "Surprise". The rest are utterly boring and uninventive fillers, in my book.
H&M now sells a t-shirt "designed by Timbaland". Send that store chains some angry e-mails.
Yes, and send angry e-mails to all record stores as well! We can take this evil man down!!! Are you with me?
Maybe we can persuade the other Timberland who makes t-shirts to sue him for trademark infringement.
hope u all been well.. happy new year.. been a while..

the **** should be forced to apologize/own up for the radio interview comments as well as paying up and made VERY publically. There are so many angles on how to prove it's taken and also copyrighted. it's funny in that sense, but let it go to court. There is a number of swerve balls to chuck his lawyers , no matter how well the prepare it will totally throw them and make them look stupid.
standard that people do a "seize and desist" order first of all , to stop more sales etc. It's the one thing he wished had gone away, but well he should have done the right thing in the first place.
it's a pity there isn't a thing like MCPS for demo musicians, guarenteed he'd not mess with the music.
It's a game of bluff.. if it does go to court, they will try to settle out of court at the very last minute.. Me .. I'd take it to court IF i was in that situation.
I can go to a record company I've worked for and have credits for and demand how many sales were made. Legally they can't withhold that..
that'd be interesting to find out also.. I still thing he should put a B infront of the "land" bit.. coz without anyone elses work.. it would just be that.
I did notice his shock value cd in the shop today is at a very discounted price of £7 , instead of £9-10 like the others.. pretty funny they have to cut the costs just to try and gain chart positions.
I guess the only thing he understands is if his bank balance takes a dent.

you don't buy CDs a lot, do you?
Ahahaha! I bought Daft Punk's "Human After All" the other day for 5e! It's a shame they have to cut cost to gain chart positions like that! :D
skrebbell : it's odd to see them when they are in the chart at such a price.. it was the only one in the top 30 that was.. probably the only reason why it was in the chart, due to it's cheapness..
but most of the music i listen to isn't in supermarkets / record shops, I have to buy most of the albums direct for the label or online..
but I don't buy cd's a lot any more from shops.. I use sites like
http://www.find-dvd.co.uk instead.. saves me a fortune

It doesn't matter how much a cd costs for a mainstream popstar. Justin Timberlake's album dropped to 10e 2 or 3 weeks after release. They know they will sell enough copies anyway and the sales of the cd is not the main income of these artists.
So they don't have to cut costs, they can cut cost. Trust me, Timbaland's album hit the 'enough sold' mark weeks ago :)

old64scener, ok, fair enough. it's completely common practice for hit albums to be sold at 70% and later 40-50% of the price a year or so after their release. i believe it's mostly to empty out the stocks.
ah, or what okkie said.
I saw a Mozart CD in a box of chocolates during christmas! Talk about jumping up the charts!!!
okkie: "Human After All" rules.
maybe you released the music for free never intending to make any money of it anywa? Timbaland was smart enough to do so. Maybe you should've realized your potential.
