youre free to realize your ideas at the 4k or 64k intro compo if its about the oh so encouraging size limit so why another size related compo?
especially if the results are rather dull and allways will be.
and sooner or later it will get flooded with cool funny funky creative shit releases like a vector penis.

4k is more than enough for interesting raytracing/procedural/fractal generated imagery, and it would be fun to watch such things on a bigscreen. why not.

as for lovers of showing funky shit to the audience, there's always preselection for them.

For a 4kb image you can always use a LOT of subdivision :)

I bet a limitation for 4k procedural gfx (i.e. when doing raytracing) is the few maximum time allowed.
