Now then, as the title says, what do YOU think the best Atari ST game is, that doesn't not require use of a joystick?

Not that I've played all that many Atari ST games here...but I'm going with Captain Blood.

Although I really did bang my head when I found out this was for the ST.
I had it long, long ago. For the IBM PC with CGA! (And no mouse)
I mean come on, the version for the 48K Spectrum was WAY better!

if you don't have a joystick but you do have a mouse and a monochrome screen.. try some games like esprit and oxyd (puzzlers) and ballerburg ('Worms' of the 80's).. these had me hooked for ages..

I'm thinking Defender of the Crown.
A strong runner up would be Arkanoid 2 - the Revenge of Doh.

Oh yeah, Ballerburg, the only thing ever able to glue me to an Atari ST for a whole day ;)

I have Defender of the Crown...and my god...that game is so damn difficult when you try to go raiding.
Not that the joust is much easier...

I'd play Monkey Island too...but...bleh, you can't go back and play the ST version after you've played it on the Amiga.

i liked bolo a lot. one of the few sw ST games. had a completely new breakout feeling because of the movement. 1987

on ST I was highly addicted to:
- Deflektor
- Kult
- Capitain Blood
- Shufflepuck Café
- The Pawn
- B.A.T. (with hardware so ST finally had decent sound)
- any Arkanoid (+clones)

now pls sort off the (few) stickless ones :D
