I hate to say it, but there is a distinct difference between acting like a rude idiot and being a rude idiot. Now that all the trollish pretense has been cleansed from pouet everybody is supposed to show his true face, isn't it like that? I am getting more and more repulsed by the way things turn out. I went through the latest BBS threads and was not able to see any "improvement". Everything is still as it has been before, just that you now have an army of "righteous" people who believe they are on the moral high ground.

I think the careless behaviour is very much a result of bad habits. And as long as the BBS exists in it current form, I don' thinnk anything will change.
My suggestion: Replace the BBS with a number of subforums. I'd expect a lot of whining about killing the pouet BBS spirit or whatnot if that happened, but I think it would actually help improve the situation i the long run.
