I'm afraid I much more mainstream...
bcr2000 is great for jazz :)
Nice keyboard
bcr2000 is great for drum n bass / neurofunk :)
i think bcr2000 is pretty much for anything... but the cheap plastic knobs are like... *cough*
... cheap ... and efficient, that's why behringer controllers are popular :p
It's not so cheap imo... but if some people around are willing to send some bucks to the pathetic cheapo musician I am... i'm sure real knobs will make me make teh better musak (yeah... who said it was NOT the gear making the musician?)
It's pretty cheap compared to similar music gear, and while the probably won't make you better at making music you will definitely work faster with a real controller than twisting with your mouse. Also, you can't twist too many knobs with your mouse at the same time.
(maybe i'm just horny but that last sentence sounded very sexual to me)

cheap and popular, that are the right words... i myself have BCN44 at home and i'm glad Uli makes that sort of stuff... it's just cool to play around with it but if i ever wanted to play live (for instance), i'd buy something more serious...
you'd better thank the chinese labor forces ;)
indeed =)
Optimus keyboard is awesome...
@nula: popular for its price especially.. I totally agree there are "more serious" controller but at the end, it's knobs and buttons, you can have better knobs, better buttons... but it remains fucking knobs and buttons :)
