I don't think it's bad downloading old soft, after all they aren't making profit of it. You aren't hurting/stealing nothing. I think the intellectual property it's a theme for another thread, and it could get a monster of a thread because there is a lot to talk about.
Yuo all have forgot one important thing - since when we can call game "abandonware"? I mean - if it's from 1989, or 1995?

Preacher, yeah, but what if I want to play whole Wolfenstein 3d, and the only place where I can bought it - it's an US e-shop, and buying it costs me about 200pln? For comparision - Witcher costs now in Poland 80pln, Doom 3 - 33pln, Call of Duty 4 - 80pln Got my point? :/
