I know of two others with my real name: one is a librarian and one is the wife of an ex Finnish politician. There are probably a bunch of others that I don't know of. Luckily no other writers/authors with this same name.
For some reason many Americans seem to think that there is only one person in the world named Maija (which is in fact a common name in Finland), and assume I'm a painter who shares the same first name. For the past ten years I've regularly got emails about "my" paintings. It was pretty confusing at first. Yeah, I am a painter too, but I didn't think I'm all that famous. :-P

for a few years, www.jco.de belonged to the "Jesus Christus Oase", wich was some kind of christian community that registered the domain a few months before i got myself jco-music.de. Sadly, they want 1000 EUR for it now that it is for sale (i asked them about a year ago). Seems that nobody wants it, so maybe it's time to ask again :D

I just thought one day that I am obsessed with optimised software and optimizing code in general and made up Optimus which sounded good. At that time I wasn't aware that Optimus is also the name of a transformer robot.
Though it's a very common nickname and when I try to sign in for a new email account, forum or blog, it's already taken and so I use either optimus6128 or optimus_dm on the irc.

Also, I remember a french demo that was once released from a new group (in 2001-2003?) and one person who contributed something (gfx, sound, code, I don't remember?) had the nickname Optimus. But this was their only demo I think and I never heard of that optimus scene guy again..
