releases which did not get any rank in a compo should be at the bottom of the list IMO. currently they're listed before the winners, surely they do not deserve that! :)

i just can't understand why the quality of a demo is dependant of its rank at a demoparty ... a good rank only means that many people liked it at the demoparty ... but there is something else to rate a demo : your personal taste ...

it's still the way people first perceive the results of a demo party, and should be treated as such: the first thing to look at.
If the results are not as they should be according to your taste, I'm sure the comments of each product will reveal something.

Please keep in mind that some nonranked prodz actually do have a rank, it was simply not added...

I agree that the ranked productions should appear before the unranked productions. It's not a big deal, but it would make things look a bit cleaner to me.
What mados is saying is more important though. I think it would be good if some trusted people were given editing rights. Many productions are missing their rankings, have broken download links, are in a slightly wrong category, etc.. and it would be nice if it were possible for these problems to get fixed.

While we're on this subject, here's another idea.
The production listings for parties which have more than one demo/intro compo for different platforms are a jumbled mess (off the top of my head, look at The Party 99). This is difficult to fix nicely (because the platform/type system doesn't necessarily match the compos that the organisers arranged).. but the following could be done:
- The popularity rating could be shown for each production
- It could be made possible to supply a results txt for each party
