I really like to use the "Random" button to discover some productions I've never heard of - especially on boring days at the job :-)

But I would really like to have some options to narrow the field of search, just like in the "Prods" section.
So here's my suggestion: why not show the system/category selection together with the first random result so that you can choose "Win - demos" or "Amiga - music disks" etc. for the following random results?

What do you think?

or limiting the productions to a specific year...

It would also be nice to have some sort of flag on productions with video-captures, so that you can search through only this group of demos. It could also be an option in the random selector that hopefully will be implemented one day ;-).

This would be nice. On the other hand, there are a lot of C64 and Atari gems, for example, that I would've missed if I had had that option..

Of course, the "narrowing the selection" I had in mind would be just an OPTION... so, if you don't select anything, the results would stay completely random as usual...

Bah, screw this. Just F5 the hell out of your keyboard. :P

Of course it would be optional, but people tend to go the easiest route.. I think I'd go with the Windows prod selection if I had the option :P
