after watching the democompo at BP
Ive changed opinion about minimalanimal...
they rox! though my mind was filled with THC during the compo but, hehe, I still thinked them demos rocked, or atleast the first one, I cant really remember the first , hehe =)

there was only one minimalanimal demo in the compo, the other was called "minimalanimal" and was done by kosmoplovci.
the second one was the real minimalanimal demo, and i thought it was quite cool, actually.

well, first, let's put things into the context, minimalanimal is a joke, something to pull the chimera demo's legs....
i heard about it, never saw any stuff by them, except during the breakpoint....
and then, it's not that suckish, a bit boring yea yea yea maybe but in an other wya, graphically, it's something new, something different and something interesting, kinda related to nu art stuff.....
well, never realised how much some pc demos can look like some amiga's one? always the same "demostyle" design....
it's the same for the music, there is a demostyle, a way to make the melodies, a way to set the beats...
so the real question is: is there a problem when someone come with something REALLY different?

kaneel: i dont think it was directly influenced by chimera. why do ppl nowdays use chimera as a mark stone for arty-crap demos labelling anyways??? i mean ok it was made by halcyon and it got controversial when it was released but there are shitloads other prods similar, some released prior and some released after chimera.
