i think public voting is pretty much alright. the problem i see with long compos is to recall all the demos. having screenshots of the demos would be VERY helpful... but of course, that's additional work for the orgas.

Boah yeah! The Showers were really cool. It was warm inside, you had a coffee spender and some nice guy opening the shower doors for ya. ~_~

jazzman: i personally think that in the past it must have made little more sense, due to obvious reasons such as demos being judged by slightly different aspects, different attitude, etcetera.

dubmood: nice try, we were just fucking around a little, mister "i have rastas so i'm cool". talking about clothes.. are you aware of the fact that you'd fit twice in those pants? (you probably do, but isn't that just *so* hip?) just go ahead and talk crap, i'll have a conversation with some more interesting people then.

ah and btw, the TBL demo was really nice yes.. but for me it was more like many little demos showed one after the other. the music changed too often, and the scenes changed too often completely. but still it was very impressive. And I think the most sexy scene was.. at the end. where you saw that house.

i find it odd that no-one is mentioning the AWESOME live performance of Skrebbel (aka Eggbird) at Breakpoint!! it was the best live performance i have ever seen! A guy playing a quatro (a 4 snare guitar) and singing spanish songs over chiptunes!

Skreb, keep it up! and at Scene Event, you must have a repertoire of at LEAST 9 songs!!! (and a cd for sale!)

second, the norwegian guy (fuxior or something is his name?) was a stupid fucking ass, i hate when people can't hold their liquor (in that way). I didn't really have much trouble with the poles though :)

and ehm.. well, i had a fucking awesome time and it was nice to meet so many people! Big fat props (in pink thongs) to the organizers!!! DU BIST GANZ GEIL! :)

Tomcat: when I said "young party" I meant it was it's first year running, but from the sound of it, i also could've been referring to some of the infantile antics at the place... not that it's always a bad thing ;)

jazz: I totally agree w/ you - there should be some sort of 'party rating' system in place, not only to get a feel of what all the sceners thought, but also as a feedback mechanism for future organisers to see where they could improve.

This would also be great for archival purposes.
