dalezy don't be paranoid, the guy has prolly 'only' badly tagged and named your trax, that's all.
zest, it happened before, so i'm allowed to be paranoid. =)
hint: ms98 mmul compo - someone tried to enter the track i competed with the year before, with a slightly changed beat.

i just read this whole thread. its a long thread.
just so you know.
just so you know.
Xeron: try to beat the endboss, the end animation is worth it!
well, i do not want to bias the viewing of this documentary, but the whole timba-issiue compared to the NWA-thing in the video ... really ... perspective. WTF? anyway, look youselfs:

hmm.. the new 50 cent. feat timbaland + justin - AYO Technology tune is very data sounding.. hope it aint stolen too ;D
abductee: nice..
i wouldn't worry about tim, he has no plasuable form of defense if it went further, I would like to see him get whats due him.. end of the day people need to get paid their dues...
I pay for sample cd's , I license them..so why should he be any different.

old64scener: I don't think tim is worrying either and I doubt he is even involved in solving this case :)
bzz : does remind me of jch or the whole vibrants style/sound.. then again it could be more people, not just them .
suprise suprise, tim's involved with "production"..why am i not suprised...

I don't think timbo is *that* affected with the scene :)
Damn that song sucks, even if it does have SID arpeggios.
okkie:he needs a wake up call though. the only way seems to be to make him responsible for his actions, legally, so it seems.
he's a fan alright, but for the wrong reasons.. how can anyone dislike the c64. behold the power of the brown breadbin..hehe

Haha, i'm listening to it now and it seems that timbo must have thought 'damn! that exposure i gots when I ripped from them sceners was sure hella great! less do datz again!'
classic :D
classic :D
Hell, that documentary was awesome.
..and yeah; that song what was mentioned is littered with SID-sounds. Talk about crapping in the face of "teh badmouthers on teh interwebs" :)
Nice of them to put an instrumental version on the single, to save people from having to mess around with filters this time...
Leeching the single as we speak, might have to make a remix of this :D
that ones a lot tuffer to detect.. again he's muted the bassline channel..
but more a case of he's sampled the appegio.. then the time it plays lower, he just played it at C2 instead of c3 or whatever, an octave lower.. the second part where it plays higher is the actual note/correct pitch, but its probably shifted to c3 on the keyboard, i'm prety sure.
if that was "made" before the "do it" thing, I reckon he was testing to see if anyone would pick up its a 64.
I'd still go with JCH though, it's his kinda sound or one of the vibrants. secret land etc. only way to tell is by the blips i guess. Like they did with that "uncleared sample" video using the c64 noter =)
or pehaps check it against grg's folder.. since he was there already..
i've been working on a tune today, theres a reason refill that i'm using that sounds a lot like the sid =) but its handmade, no samples and no pro-tools rig needed.lol

“Music is boring right now. I'm too innovative for the world. I've been doing it so long, I'm about to throw in the towel. I'm about to de-crown myself and pass it over to one of the up-and-coming producers under me. They won't be able to be me but there's a certain sound that I try to teach." - Timbaland
That Nelly's camp decided to make a single out of "do it" even though the controversy around the ripped sample from Tempest/Grg seams a little bit strange.. Is things settled secretly? Some agreement which Tempest has agreed on which he's not allowed to talk about? Any news on the subject?
