HELLO.JPG was more of an eye-opener than that excuse of a logo.

Apparently the video, which the designers claimed was a big part of logo design, is causing people to be taken to hospital. Yes really. This is turning into a design horror story.

auld : yep 8 people complained about it, affecting them health wise.. the mayor of london also commented on it, he's not a big fan of it either.

they should have made it open to the public, who designed it (perhaps uk only..sorry :-p ) i mean look at the logos on here.. they p*** all over the ones for that.

I starting to love that logo.

yes... given that the epitome of style for sportsmen is a tracksuit, putting this guy in charge of branding was a surefire winner...

Hah. I love that there are regulations determining how many flashy colours are allowed in TV content. How cool is that!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txXC6PwgEmc <- this is what's causing epilepsy attacks?

Xernobyl : Well, I'm not really what you could call an "expert" :) but I happen to be very interested into brain functions, subliminal advertising and brain/light interactions, and all I can say after having watched this piece-of-crap animation is : if they actually _intended_ to cause epilectic fits, they wouldn't have done it any differently.

Hi-speed blinking, bright colors, geometric primitives rotating randomly and bursting out of nowhere, and especially the scene with the diver with the ugly splash effect.

This clip is extremly boring, and painful to watch even if you're not epileptic. I'm not surprised people with epileptic problems did react to this (note the strange music that causes a feeling of weirness). Now it's not hard to decide : either the author is a complete moron with no or little sense of consequences (mmmmmh no, I mean we're in 2007), either he did it on purpose (my opinion).
