Thanks for all the support, it is truly heartwarming to know there's so many people who care! I am not "quitting" in any way, in fact this unfortunate event only motivates me more to continue doing the positive things in my life that bring joy to other people as well as myself. So Outline will go on, and also the children's camp we're organising for the 13th time this summer, and the community sportshall, and and and... :-) If anything changed, it would be that I am even more grateful I can do such things than I was before.
Revenge is not something I care about. These people are already on the superhighway towards selfdestruction. I do not need to fuck up their lives any further, they can take care of it themselves perfectly sofar. The police will hopefully do their job the way they should.
A little word for those who had ordered or were to receive Outline t-shirts and caps: All the goods are stored along with the contents of my (ex-)flat in a secure location. I have limited access to this storage unit, and am planning to process the shipments ASAP- which probably will boil down to when I have found a new flat or house. If you would prefer to get your money back, let me know and it will be taken care of inmediatly.
Then I'd like to answer some questions that were raised:
Tribe, they probably were angry with me because I (along with several other neighbours) had complained to the housing board about the allnight parties my flatmate and her (on average 4-6) friends were celebrating 3-4 nights a week. The housing board itself was aware that threats of violence (not just towards me, but also towards other neighbours) were abundant before the attack took place, but to this moment does not do anything more than sending notes to my ex-flatmate that "they need to talk" (a friend of mine who lives near the flat has a copy of the key to the mailbox, so he can hopefully intercept my mail until the post company starts sending it through, so that's how I know...).
Unssi, during the three months I lived behind one door with that bitch I found (remains of) several types of dope. Cracktubes, spoons (mine, actually :/) used for boiling, qat spit all over the place, the list goes on and on. I'd be the last to judge anyone on their substance abuse, unless, as in this case, it causes great stress for a complete appartment block. :/
Maali, the doctor actually couldn't say for sure if my nose was broken. The type of pain reaction I showed had every sign of it, but my nose is still straight, so it didn't need to be set in plaster. Other than that, the doctor could only find superficial trauma (cuts, bruises, pieces of glass in my skin/hair/ears/nose, etc). I could say that only the first blow was a full hit, after that my judo and muay thai training routine kicked in and I was (thank heavens) able to protect myself from the bottleblows somewhat better.
Truck, the main thing I am looking for at this moment would be a job somewhere in the east of Holland or in Nordrhein-Westfalen. So if anyone knows companies who need IT/multimedia people with few diplomas but shiploads of practical experience, I'd be damn interested to hear about it indeed. :-)
