Yeah. Like a lot of people here I will refuse to acknowledge Farbrausch until they find a cure for cancer. Also, something is dead inside of me, I think it used to be called heart and now all what's left is indifference.

Yobs: I think your list of people who don't get it should include people who assume Debris has any of the following:

- an "incredibly" high poly count
- innovative shaders
- a somehow amazing way of making objects fall apart
- a physics engine (!)

What it does have is an obviously huge amount of work put into it, and great finishing, but with the bland colour scheme and the slow pace, it fails to make me jump up and down while screaming and masturbating. The code is impressive of course, and the filesize is great too, but then it does feel much more like an intro than a demo.

Zplex feels an urge to comment about Doom`s amiga demos right now, but he won`t :)

But you're welcome to comment on my demos. Personally, and to put it mildly, I wouldn't be particularly put off by a comment like "it's really a good demo, and impressive in many ways, but lacking in some qualities. Unlike the other 99% of everyone I found it a little boring". In fact I'd be very pleased with such a comment. I might look at myself in the mirror and go "good job, mate".

Of course, for a moment there I forgot to constantly remind myself that Pouet doesn't support that. There's only "OMG ZLOL TEH BEST SHIT EVAH *wank wank wank*" or "THIS CRAP FUKCING SUXXX KTHXBYE!!1". Anything in-between is rounded down.

And fuckings to that.

I think many people that are serious gets unserious because of the way pouet.net is pouetized :) E.g: 90% of the discussion threads contain silly pictures that contain porn or other irrelevant stuff. And this unseriousness is like a disease and 90% of the users gets it, so that`s why 90% of the production comments are a) retarded b) offtopic c) unserious

On other "large scale" demoscene websites the same users that are on pouet.net seems more sane.
