What about having a my_charts.php where you can fill your top10 prods. Right now we have the popularity charts (based on page hits I gues), but maybe if you do a new kind of charts mixing all the top10 charts of each user the results would be quite different? Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think that fr025 is in the top of everyones top10 private charts, if you know what I mean...

The interesting thing here would be that, if a new great demo is released, then everyone would consider his top10, and update it. You can cache the top10 each month if you want to have the history.
Also, as pouet has almost all the prods, will be easy to have 10 drop down with all the prods, so you only have to select the prods from the drop down without having to remember how the name was exactly... and nobody will have to count the votes either, the machine will do it for us :P

The top CDC doesn't seem that working very well tho. There is already a tie of 5 productions in the 6th position.

well, you could have 10 fields where you enter the prod-ids, and some fancy ajax that tells you the name of the prods you entered in a box next to each field.

it doesn't have to be fancy even, I'd be glad to explain how ajax code works for anyone coding the site..

Trace: no, they are more based on thumbs than hits, which already makes them some kind of charts.
Plus, like PS already mentionned it, we have diskmag charts for that already.

That's also wrong, sort the prods by number of thumbs up on the prodlist page and you will see that FR-25 is also at the very top, which makes is one of the favorite prods for a majority of people.
(the idea is not bad though, we could have a charts section in the menu indeed but I'm pretty sure the result would be more or less the same, featuring again Starstruck, FR-25, Debris and FR-08)
In my humble opinion this would be a focus of fake accounts... CDC is the same I think...
funny thing is, if you compare debris to the popular demo debris has more thumb ups, less piggies and less thumb downs, which would reflect the opinions of sceners... but as it is now it seems to go on page hits as someone suggested.. maybe it should be in the form of "ups-downs=total score" ? Cause now you can get your demo digged and lots of points there... am I right?

Actually Heaven Seven is at the top.
Also, you can't simply assume that the production with the most thumbs up is the most popular, because that only works if everyone bothers to rate every single production on pouet.net. Especially for older stuff this system is unreliable.
