The first demoscene pubmeet in Holland is scheduled for the 12th of February in the birthplace of the Dutch demoscene- Enschede.

As usual, the meeting is open for sceners of all platforms, nationalities, and ages above 16 (if you like a beer or two- for cola the last rule can be omitted ;)).

Hey! There have been dutch pubmeets before (like for example the Nederkomst in Delft with almost 80 people if I recall correctly :-)

And organising it more central like Utrecht or Amsterdam will bring more interesting dutch sceners then those semi-germans that will show up :-P

scout does have a point though, just checked the train schedule and the last train to Amersfoort leaves at 22:27... way too early :-)

Pete: Yep, you can order a beer legally at 16, hard liquor and cannabis at 18... And you gain financial independence at 21 ;)

Sparcus: Nobody bothered to invite the Atari scene to Nederkomst, so that was not multiplatform enough ;) BTW, I'm so glad you commented on that quote instead of this one :

Scout & Sparcus: Utrecht and Amsterdam suck. The last train to the wonderful east leaves at about 11:30am. Therefore, no can do- Feel free to organize a competing pubmeet in your beloved vinexland tho ;-)
