Dunno if anybody has the time or cares, but would it be too much work to have the BBS repeat the post you were trying to send in case your session times out while you're typing? That would let you copy the message, then go log in again and not have to start all over. Just a thought.

Basically, Doom, I figure if it times out while I'm rewriting/revising my long as hell post, I wrote too much and shouldn't write it.

And yes I've lost half hours of 'work' to this, but after 2-3 times over the past few years, I've figured out that really, instead of writing all that crap on pouet, I should fucking do something creative.

ever since i lost a huge ass reply due to session fuckup, i started ctrl+a'ing my way through pouet.

yeah, ctrl+a'ing. + the other ctrl-combinations as well.

I have another sugestion: if you post two times in a row, like dalezy did now, pouët should merge the posts.

Yeah, ctrl+a/ctrl+c's the way forward. Except I know for a fact that if I exceed two lines of text, NOBODY's going to be reading that shit. Regardless, if it's a proper heroic piece of diatribe, I sometimes whip out a text editor to store it in until I'm ready to unleash it.

ctrl+a,ctrl+c works of course, but you still forget sometimes. And, if you're like me you might write short posts sometimes, but get distracted by all sorts of things (world domination, etc.), come back and finish your tiny little post an hour later and then it disappears. :'(

Anyway, just might be an easy feature to add, could be nice, sall I'm sayin.
