A related question: Where has www.cfxweb.net gone?!

I've been in contact with civax recently, we have agreed that I'll take over the site data and integrate it with 32bits. civax is keeping the domain for his personal stuff, but all the content will reappear soon.

I miss the fullscreen 2d art that used to feature so heavily in Amiga demos.. I miss my jaw dropping at the stunning quality.. I miss those stunning logos which are now so rare..

I know there is enough talent out there, but it seems PC demos have taken a different direction (apart from the odd few..)

magic you did not understand, it's cfxweb.net who's gonna be mirror on 32bits ...

Uh, so, are we really going to lose that huge graphics database like that? Anytime you speak about pixelated graphics where are you going to send the link to? I guess for someone with contacts in planet-d, getting the last backup and doing a copy to untergrund will probably take 1 weekend.

Anyone?

guess who ?!

here is the short version:
i just noticed that there were 2 gfxzone accounts on the planet-d machine: 1 that still exists and 1 that will surely never be recovered from the hd crash.

the dns entry has been redirected to the existing account.

for now i don't know if something's missing in the directory. maybe someone could take the time to compare with the archive.org snapshots.
please 3D Addict, NdK or Mr Ed, contact me
@256: Thanks man, I missed those 2d masterpieces!

guardian: the owners hadnt updated it since ages even long before the hdd problems ;)

Now that the site is back, where can I get an account to add graphics?
Wow... was just googling a bit and look what i found.
Gfxzone website been revived because of this thread.

I'm impressed :)

Its nice to see the site up again.

Had to make a whole new account for this as i lost the psw of the old one and the emailaddress died.
