How 2 undelete in Winuae?

I have just accidentally deleted a number of files (i.e. a whole in progress diskmag) in Winuae and was hoping that somebody could suggest how I can recover them.

They never showed up in the Windows recycle bin and I've tried a few PC recovery tools without any luck.

Please help me somebody!

Don't know about your WinUAE setup and it sounds like your data wasn't stored in a harddisk-file (which would be bad), but you should give DiskSalv a try. If the data is still there, DiskSalv will find it.

Thanks noname. I just gave it a try, but probably due to my setup I can't get it to see any hardisk devices, only floppys.

wade, so where these files actually were? hardfile? diskimage? disk directory?

hm. on the windows side you could try "GetDataBack".. when you lost a hardfile or diskimage, you could restore it completely .. maybe
