How to run Second Reality on modern PCs?

It does work on DosBox if you change the cfg file and cpu = normal. With cpu = dynamic, both 2ndreality and panic crashes. Although it's still more enjoyable in an oldschool PC than on emulator, because there are annoying pauses between the transitions from one part to the other in the 2nd.
