recently i read several prod comments from blackmission stating that it was lame to alter werkkzeug1's loader.

is it illegal to do so ? did the prods really alter the loader or is it an option offered by the tool ?

since i never use werkkzeug1 myself, i would be glad if someone could enlight me

What I think he/she means is that it's lame to hide the fact that you are using WZ by altering the loader (and indeed it is). I haven't seen the prod that is commented so I'm just guessing here.

i would say its a plus to hack the loading.. since we all know how it looks by now, something else is welcome.
and its not like they're claiming it not to be WZ.. O_o

The interesting thing about blackmission is that he started his pouet career only to thumb up Scimitar productions.

Now the interesting thing about Scimitar is the following: Not only that whoever's behind is is a dumb asshole which no human being in its right mind would enjoy contanct with, no, even worse:

In their Hooper demo (which was not even bad) they not only changed the .wz1's resolution selector, but, worse: they actively removed the copyright info from the loader bar. Which is btw illegal, but that's Chaos'/Fiver2's problem, not mine ;)

And now there comes this guy who's clearly affiliated with the pile of shit that is Scimitar, and thumbs down others prods for minimal modifications of wz1's intro runtime. Although the ppl flamed have clearly stated that they made their intros with wz1, which scimitar on the other hand did NOT.

There is something seriously fishy here, if you ask me, ladies and gentlemen.

was meaning to point out the scimitar-relation before, according to the logic behind the votes.
looks like someone's been ticked off really bad because of version .3 of a certain tool, whatever the real reason might be behind there. =)

i'd like to apologize hereby for the behaviour of my nationals as it seems to be really shameful and disturbing. this, though, does not mean that i in any way want you ( fr ) not to take legal actions or make a reproof if you feel like that. just to point that out, i have nothing to do with aforementioned groups, individuals and productions. sorry.

whyever you russians are complaining now... AFAIK blackmission and scimitar are both German, and as I said - I don't think anybody minds changing the loader bar / res select screen somewhat, as long as credits/copyrightinfos stay intact, which they did in both of the intros.
