Demos with soul (not the music)

Some demos have amazing gfx, others music that you cannot stop listening to. There are productions that have extremely strong scenes that you'll never forget. Among all these, there are some demos that have soul. I would like to see a list here with the demos you beleve that have this "feature".

there are many "soul classics" that i could name, from hardwired and verses to the ballet dancer and 1995.

but i'd like to mention basically everything from CPU (zx) and FLT swedish c64 division. and also single works by skrju (zx) like "father" and "fuck you scene".

and on the pc side, kolor from "herbst77" to "relais", as well as their "varus"/"gracchus" 4k series. and definetely the 4ks and 64ks by ethos9 and funk. this is the soul of the pc demoscene for me.

halcyon in general i'd say - not only h+, but also saint, into the dark (!) and even chimera (even though i don't like the latter :)

statix: *especially* his more recent works i'd say: tom thumb and staying pictures.

"super luxus lemmen paketti", "fortnight", "predator", "the ballet dancer" and "deities" by mfx. "kolonija" by kosmoplovci and "messiah" by minimalanimal. "trocken" and"perfect love" by bauknecht/lkcc. "captive" by asd. "protozoa" and "aesterozoa" by kewlers.

and also (yeah, "selfvoting", blah...) "fr-038: theta" by farbrausch. can't put my finger on it, but something makes me want to watch it at least once a month. my favourite among the prods i was involved in :)
