yeah, I guess that will decrease the amount of entries dramatically (for those 32/64b compos at least). :)

maybe people who are interested in participating via mail could tell us, so we can see for a partial change of that rule.
however, I guess for 4k, 64k and demo we will not change it.

That's good news! I was thinking the possibility to code at least an 64b, if not a 256b too and send it through email (Since it's preety impossible for me to travel in foreign demoparties today), I hope more people would wish the rules to change for at least some of the tiny intro compos..

now, i think you do allow email entrys for every
category or just leave it complete...
would not be fair just to allow the tiny cats. to be email participated...

no email entries. if someone would like to enter, he must at least get a fake-member that visits the party...

i think styx is right.. for 4k/64k/demos it shouldn't be necessary to have email-entries.. cause there will be enough productive sceners on the partyplace again, i hope.. so: Join 0a000h! Be there! ;)

we need to know how many people we can expect for proper planning. our deadline for skipping the event is shortly before xmas, so if 500 people want to come but we don't know that things might go badly wrong.

i think it shouldn't be allowed to enter entrys via mail.
The last year price giving were pretty poor because of that, and.....so why not stay at home at my sweet warm home if i could release via mail ? :)

something to add concerning alternative platforms:
yet there are no single compos for amiga, atari and such.
still they're welcome. we have a real wild compo for those (means: only programmed entries on computers or consoles, no video crap) and if enough entries for one platform might appear we could throw in a new compo.
so if you like to, you can tell us about alt-platform entries and we post it on the homepage so that others know about it and we maybe can get a compo.
we have a c64 and an (unextended) amiga500, for the rest bring along the machines yourself please (or better bring it anyways for any emergency case ;)
