(yes, the CDC's are being used in a way that they were not intended to. If you want people to use them correctly, then create one marker for "kickass!" wellknown productions and another one for unknown prods which deserve recognition by a larger section of the demoscene populace. Just my 2 cents.)

dipswitch: Point taken. (I thought the individual and site CDCs were similar in spirit, in that their intended use was to flag underrated productions. If so, my interpretation of the situuation ought to hold. If not, I stand corrected.)
