NVScene 2008!

So will this hall shown on the site be used for NVScene only or for the whole NV...whatever the name of the full event was?

It's possible that it's smaller than it looks because of the weird photo, but that does indeed look giant.
Maybe it was on the website and I missed it but : will there be a video stream during the compo ?

as far as i remember talking with acryd, BPTV wishes to remain BPTV and not BPAndPracticallyEveryOtherPartyTV - but of course i'll be happy to be wrong on this one :)
Since it will probably have a significant exposure, the stream will have to be quite solid :)
again i'd much rather see people AT the party ;)
Yeah, as if a couple of thousand sceners will be able to travel to the states for a party. Just make sure you have a solid stream, will ya? ;)
BPandNVTV? The stream at BP was great.
maybe if nvidia would start handing out retour flight boxes instead of hardware the # of sceners actually showing up wouldve been higher :D

Good for him! But Gopher is in Germany and I am in Malta! I only have a single core cpu here, hence the need for the demobox! but anyway, hope to see some nice productions from the people who got one.

Gargaj, your reply wasn't clear enough to me. We (Titan) actually planned to make a demo for that party. Sadly Liranuna wasn't apparently good enough to get a demobox. So, as always, i guess the requirements to get a demobox is to be in the 1337-TOPTEN list of the best coders around, who won shitload of parties, and who'll win again another party because they'll be able to make some kind of prod with some awesome stuff they got given. So.. Once again only the best groups will be able to be the best at that demoparty - thus putting aside any luck for other groups to get to the same level, ever.

Allow me to disagree with you. Breakpoint 2008 winning demo runs on my 4 year old laptop same as the second place, both at 1280x800. Remember bonzaj's wise words.
Yes, that rarely or never happens in the scene. But I like to believe it ;)
