Yes, in the port, the polyhedron doesn't squash vertically when it hits the floor. Instead, it changes size along all axes, and the oscillation continues in the same way afterwards. So essentially, it just changes its overall size.
In the original, when the polyhedron hits the floor, it gets flattened (increasing in width and decreasing in height), and the subsequent oscillation follows the physics of an elastic body.
You may think this isn't “horribly broken” and is just a minor detail. But it has a huge impact on how the whole thing looks and feels.

havoc: I created secondary account in very open manner (admitting to it right away). That should be enough sign I am not looking for trouble, but I simply want to participate in civilized discussions about important topics for the demoscene. I'm also banned on Discord, so my options to participate are limited so to say. Just to be clear - I don't agree with reasons for the ban on any of those channels. This just shows to me how much you and some of your colleagues value plurality of views.
The ship has sailed for your opinions. By creating duplicate accounts and using them to post here all you achieve is underlining the lack of respect you have for this community, it's users and it's maintainers. All there is left for you to do is moving along now, whether you like it or not.
havoc: don't you see we just throw crap on each other at this point. You claim I lack respect for people here, I claim you don't accept different opinions etc... The thing you fail to notice is I am not in position of power here. You can build your own narrative and your colleagues would most likely take it for granted. I cannot. It's just sad, what can I say.
