hahaha The Drifters demo won??? I would have gone one further than not accepting the prize, I would have committed suicide on stage!
I missed part of that. What happened?

I think what Drifters did represents what Breakpoint has tried to promote for years - the true scene spirit. Nevermind prizes and votes. I'm glad some people still remember what it's all about - having fun with people like you.

Drifters' attitude was good, the wording OTOH was poor.

I don't know anything about compo rules of amiga wardware but I just saw it and i liked it. Technically wasn't astonishing but I like it because that's not the point.

Hehehe well, don´t understand it all, it isn´t the first time in scene history that a technically better demo got 2nd. BTW, Drifters really 20 years old? Respect to Stingray for making a nice Demo. ;)
Sdw: When Drifters and the other winners were called on stage, Clary said something like " we refuse ". The face of the orgas was all WTF?!

ah well, we're pretty bad overall in our attitudes at prize ceremonies aren't we ;)
I think the compo winners don't matter as long as the overall quality of the specific compo at hand is high. Still, much respect to Drifters - many of us can't stand losing, but only few would give away their prizes after getting the most of votes.
