FWIW, the stream (rtmp://stream2.vipri.net/live/demodays) doesn't work in VLC for me:

It does work in MPlayer, but the video stream's clock is moving backwards at times, and in generall things are pretty juddery.

This is VLC 2.1.5 on Linux (two different machines); I've heard from others that VLC on Windows works, but I can't confirm.
