Coded in... what?!
category: general [glöplog]
are there any SVG-demos?
not a demo at all, but relatedly awesome:
a guy i vaguely know was one of the editors of a student magazine where he hard-coded the postscript for a puzzle such that the puzzle was different on every print of the magazine.

I don't think there's any pure SVG demo. I know at least two prods that use SVG: dot.com 2.0 in JavaScript, and Die Ewigkeit Schmerzt which use SVG to store vector graphics.

according to your definition, i'm serious :) and i'm coding in haskell (with bits in c if really neccessary)
Also Frets On Fire uses SVG (by mean of the cool Amanith framework :)
Coded in Turbo Pascal 6.0: VV
all of asd demos before 2001 were coded in borland pascal with basm. Edge of forever and cadence and cascade was written in C++ but compiled with borland builder C++.

Ok, qbasic all of my old demos: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Freebasic Keftedes
Also check qbasic qbasic demo compos (Most of them not on Pouet) and Freebasic demo central (Most of them effects not demos, but there are few small demos and scroller screens there[/url]
The tech behind that Loonies 4k is quite cool :D.
blala if you come to bp i want you to show me your haskell stuff.
skrebbel, ok. I will be there, at least if everything goes well.
There should be Emacs Lisp democompos.
There is also the great invention of using "begin" and "end" instead of the enormously complicated opening and closing brackets :)

it's not like there's any real difference between c and pascal. minor syntactical differences and a standard library that uses procedures instead of functions in some silly places (inc comes to mind), and that's about it.

blala, awesome. we'll find each other, somehow, i guess.
skrebbel: ask me to point him out :)
