What happens if I run MS-DOS and Windows demos at 50Hz refresh rate?

What Emulators are you talking about and how did you manage to switch to 50hz in order to get smooth animation.
Thx
Doc
Altirra, WinUAE, B-em, VICE, WinAPE, Steem SSE and Spectaculator can specifically state refresh rate or just run with whatever the refresh rate at the moment is, and WinUAE can switch between 50/60Hz.
I also have DOSBox, but it seems that's locked into 60Hz, and if I try to run it in 50Hz it will switch my monitor to 60Hz for as long as it's running.
Any Dos Emulators for C64/ATARI/AMIGA that will do 50Hz Refreshrate?
I am tired of the stuttering scrollers.

If you don't get 50Hz to work on your screen with Windows, don't expect DOS to be any better.
(Fellow was originally developed for DOS but is probably no longer updated, so you'd have much bigger issues than stuttering scrollers, and I have no idea if it sets a 50 Hz mode.)

What Saga said, plus, get a Monitor that can handle either 50hz custom frequency or has 100hz and tearing/stutter be gone.
(DOS) CCS64 Screenmode 13 = 800x600@50Hz confirmd working :)
WinUAE has full support for FreeSync and G-Sync so if your hardware supports it everything is super smooth no matter the refresh-rate.
Once tried to run Second Reality by Future Crew on a TV out enabled PCI graphics card. It was a real mess!
