So, I was just browsing Pouet and I notice it's running really quickly. This is cool, so I'm just saying thanks to the admins and maintainers of this here site. I've heard that the back-end code is a sprawling monstrosity, but it seems you've done alright with it. Lovely stuff.

Pouet is awesome! One of the most impressive technical feats on the demoscene? :)

to my experience, php spaghetti code is often significantly faster than framework-laden abstraction-loaded convention-over-configuration pretty-code. so sure pouet is fast. it's also impossible to maintain :-)
