Spinning on from the UK version, I wonder if there are any sceners in Oslo who wants to go out and grab a beer sometime in mid February?

Capital idea, sir. If cheap beer and music that allows you to talk to the guy next to you is the order of the day, Oslo Mekaniske on Grønland is a good place, although the beer is >NOK 50,- :(

Oslo Mekaniske is a good suggestion. Could be a lot worse than 50,- a pint, so I suggest we go with that. And they even let you bring your own food, so if you want the real copyparty atmosphere you can bring your own loff with chips-stuffing or whatever it is you eat at parties. Weekend or mid-week?

just relax, conversations will come from just chitchat, and everyone doesn't have to take part in the same conversation. at least it was never like that before :)

Just to make it clear; the pubmeet will be GREAT since the scene has never been more of a buzzword than now, and I am sure that there are plenty of excited people coming in february. Beer is good, demos are good, demosceners are good (well, most of them) and a combination of the above is absolutely great. :)

gloom: you never know :) and yeah, I tend to lose out on sarcasm/irony without the use of smileys :D

it's rather hard to know what a person actually means without hearing the voice, actually :)
