a zebra joining the lamas wont ever make a healthy herd.

what concerns me is so much promotion over a party made for a small number of people. i mean, how many ppl were there last year, 40? i'm not expecting it to jump to 4000 or even 400 this year.
We're shooting for the Star Wars Episode I turnout.
haha...
haha...
hey, don't beat yourself up now. :) but i guess, if legalize starts talking like jar jar binks, that's his own damned problem..
phoenix is right, the massive abuse of pouet (with mostly european readers/members/whatever) to promote a US party sucks. Flights to the states aren't the cheapest, many of us have to fear handled like possible terrorists, and there are many good parties in a nearer distance.
Maybe I should start to promote 0a000h. Maybe there would be more entries for this party next year, but maybe there are 100 ppl who only come to the party for hitting me in my face.
Anyway, come to 0a000h and please click here for my free Evoke T-shirt. :)

us sucks... scene event ROXXORS!
How many Euros is it (on average) to fly to New York or Los Angeles from Northern Europe?
I'd imagine it would be about 300-400 more to get to California than New York.

why would we want to go to the usa for a party with orgas who keep annoying us with spam? we have plenty of those in europe already, some which the orgas actually know how to advertise the date and location without completly annoying the hell out of everyone.
(they recrute annoying dutch ppl to do the dirty work for them!! but atleast they have style! and a non sucky webpage logo)

Well, there ARE at least a few sceners...
and they exclusivly visit pouet and not the other 738 forums where pilgrimage has been also spammed?

That and the overwhelming lack of warmth of the original slashdot warmth. Boy, was is *cold*.
Will we bee seeing some hot, hot, *HOT* USA action at Assembly, to pick yet another party-whoring subject?
please define your market before proceding to massive advertisment ffs.
Hey... we have radio and magazine ads for asm over here. i think this whole pilgrimage thing is still peanuts compared to that ;-)

That's highly irrelevant to say the least. There's no way in hell self-respecting Eurosceners are going to sit 14 hours in a plane to attend a party that has "lectures" and is advertised on "slashdot".

whoa...
First, it's not "irrelevant", it's just a question. Second, many quality demoparties have excellent keynote speakers or tutorials, this is not uncommon. Third, almost every worthwhile demoparty I can think of has been on Slashdot at least once.
Way to go! :)
slashdot or not, i'd rather drive 600km to get to a german party than having to transfer 3 times by air plane to get to a usanian one :)
