There's a Place Where We Can Be by Coma
There's a place where we can be by coma 4k-intro released at Assembly 2025 Code and everything else by Virne. It's a GLSL-shader of course. As a starting point I used Noby's Leviathan 4k framework. 4klang was used (badly) for the sound. Shader-minifier and Crinkler were used for compression. Your standard 4k setup in other words. This is a last minute party version, even though I had a year to tweak this. From which I actively put this project aside for 11 months. There are few things that didn't work quite right. For example sort of fur effect worked much better on my shitty laptop, than it worked on a compo machine. And obviously audio side is what is. Maybe there is version with fixes later, maybe not. It's almost impossible for me to get back into something once it is released. But maybe I return to this concept later as there is a certain story I want to tell. This was my first more serious attempt to do a 4k-intro. I don't enjoy size coding. This was already hard enough to pack into 4096 bytes. But I would probably enjoy doing a big demo much less. .virne Contact: jani.lainesalo@gmail.com
