if you want to change your life with a demo
please obtain the following ingredients
1 piece of general computer equipment, like
processor fan, harddisk, and a MS-DOS compatible OS.
Sorry, a Win95 DOS shell does not fit in.
1 piece of Pentium Processor or equivalent,
preferably at 133mhz or higher.
1 piece of totally hardcore compatible VGA display card
1 piece out of the following soundcards:
■ GUS / GUS Ace / GUS MAX (256kb RAM)
hardware mixing makes the processor happy
■ SB / SBPro / SB16
software mixing makes the processor scream.
recommended minimum is Pentium 166mhz for
acceptable performance with SB mixing.
■ None of the above
though this is a prerequisite for maximum
demo speed perfomance, the extacy level of the
experience drops to dead zero.
2 pieces of at least 4mb RAM each, both plugged
in at the same time, causing your system to
have at least 6mb totally clear memory, *or*
6mb XMS memory, *or* 6mb DPMI memory (sloooow).
please keep below boiling temperature. appropriate for
two or more hungry people at the same time, or at
party places, appropriate for at least one thousand vieweing
attenders, please include at least one acoustic guitar and
the lyrics of "Fiskestang i handa" for maximum party feeling.
