Lotek, you have the nuclear bomb-proof RGB screen then ;-)

It was the top demo in its day, the soundtrack was especially kicking, the DSP was properly thrashed, and I got to see it in a gloriously weird double-vision mode on my Philips CM8833 ;-)

CiH & Calimero: IT WORKS ON RGB! Hell its running now besides me when I type these lines... I'll prove you on the next convention!

Calimero... and btw the info files DOES NOT say it's VGA only... it says "works on VGA" which means it works on VGA "too" ;)

rules of the course! shame about ripped ziks.. 3d is really good for its day, on a par with eko. some parts are a bit too long, esp the virtual world (with the horrible z culling). one of my faves is the 20 $ object and the fractalzoomcube.

trivia: this demo actually works better on rgb.. i think there are 2 versions circulating.. one of them is vga50 only (and this drops to 2vbl from time to time).

Damn I loved this demo for a long time, until I found out the ziks were not originally made for the demo, it was a real downer..

Anyway it's still great with (at the time) bloody cool gouraud and texturemapping routines, it felt like the Falcon was invincible after all those years with megascrollers and sprites on the ST :)

The raytraced images have aged quite bad so have the volume ending part..

About RGB monitors:
The demo works with both RGB and VGA, it ran nice with my Phillips 8833. And just to prove it further, I recorded the demo with my PAL capture equipment ;-)

A great demo for unexpanded Atari Falcon 030. No TV-set this time (sadly).

Pretty good demo and solid competition against EKO at the party.

Great effects showing Falcon's power. Awesome for 1994.

However, they should have made new music for this demo instead of ripping a couple of famous Jester MODs already used in two Amiga prods (for the main theme "Cyberride" of Extension by Pygmy Projects, and, for the last part, "Breath of Life" of the great music-disk Jesterday).

Thumb up, anyways. :]
