I really like these patterns, they're brutal and honest albeit quite simple. Mild thumb.

this displays visual patterns based on an awesome algorithm.
We've got awesome algorithms! The best algorithms! Amazing algorithms, I tell you! At Demobit the biggest crowd ever on any demoparty watched our algorithms perform! Vote for me if you want the best algorithms!
All your algorythms are belong to us
right
The patterns are alright, but they clearly lack sound. Also it could easily be done in a much lower size constraint. Put more effort into it Adok!
Awesome indeed.
Every legend has a beginning.. ;)
what the hell.
^^^ I concur.
I pressed esc after 1 minute, anything special happening then ? (a youtube would help)
There should be a compo rule that makes music mandatory... Music and some sync could have saved this.
Also, stabilize your rasters!

Malevich in coder colors?
Look here https://github.com/armak/pbr-whitespace (ready to use with visual studio)
it is based on iq's framework http://iquilezles.org/code/index.htm
You can use you own shaders, you can use shadertoy.com as a developer tool..
Then you can put your results to that framework and add 4klang tune..
here is distance functions for a shader
http://iquilezles.org/www/articles/distfunctions/distfunctions.htm
here is more
http://jamie-wong.com/2016/07/15/ray-marching-signed-distance-functions/
here is raymarching example
https://www.shadertoy.com/view/XsB3Rm
and here 2d shadertoy tutorials, so you can do your effect in 1kb or less
https://www.shadertoy.com/view/Md23DV
and we discussed all this here http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=10882
and you was there too..
want to code modern opengl? here is http://ogldev.atspace.co.uk/
you will need to add glew, glfw, glm, SOIL, assimp libraries here.. it is not so hard...
and finally you can use some audio library to play sound:

all of this requires time and focus

I am really struggling to find out whats so special about this magical algorithm. Especially that it needs to be 16kb.
