Cracktro is a commercial app? Hm. Don't think so. However there're still loads of new games for Spectrum (much more than for any other 8bit platform, or even 16bit). Only part of them are commercial (luckily). So people make cracktros. To convert the games for another system, to add some immortality and stuff, for them.
