The game itself is nice... but the gfx and the control destroy it a bit. I think it would have been better to use the mouse instead of the joystick in this type of game. Also it is really hard to read the text in the main menu at some positions.
Quite nice, not sure how difficult it would be in GFA, but would have been nice to have a different palette for the top and the bottom part (with some common colors of course), this would allow to have nicer graphics for the earth and the moon
And I agree with RA, texts on the menu is bordering the unreadable, I would suggest darkening the background picture during the menus/intro sequence.

Not bad, but a bit too simple for my personal taste. Also, it appears a bit unbalanced with regard to control response, screen update and enemy movement ... How about a revision Attackwave+ ? :-)
