Cute demo! I liked the music and there is also some cool 3d show to watch!

It uses also a special gfx mode of Spectrum called Multicolor as I remember (I think that an Italian emulator from Ramsoft can do the job for these modes...)

this is a classic piece. it won Demobit'95 held in Slovakia, the first (?) speccy demoparty. it is made by Busy (code) and Noro (music) with some gfx bits by both of them.
the music by Noro is very special, he has a very interesting style, somekind of very "synthy" music, almost not using white noise.. and making very astral melodies. it also reflects mood of the demo, it is quite spacey even if effects are nothing like this. besides some classic oldskool parts, it features rotazoomer for the first time on speccy (though in 8x8 chunks). highlight is a vector part - fast and with some quite complex objects.

Busy, go go go! :) You took that first place from us just by few points, but your work is worth it. :)

Hello all, maybe you know, today is 20th anniversary of this demo :)
Inspirated by group Future Crew and their famous demo Second Reality, we (me & Noro) decided to publish all source and data files used to making demo.
So if you want, you can download it from http://busy.speccy.cz/download/echo-src.rar

20 years? Dammit, now I feel old :-)

If this is indeed the first ever Spectrum demo to win a demo compo, then it's a very worthy holder of that title. A real landmark of the Speccy scene.

This is among the first spectrum demos I saw. Actually, I didn't know what a spectrum was. I didn't even have one. This was 15 years ago and someone recorded it for me on VHS....and wanted his tape back...boo

Happy 20 years anniversary!
This demo has raised the bar very high in 95.

This is a rare demo that actually truly fascinated me back in the 1990s. I ripped the screens with Jean Michel Jarre and spend weeks working out the best way to get gigascreen grays with a minimum amount of flicker. Truly inspirational demo and music that stayed with me.

Never seen this one before! I like the effects, objects, colors and music.
It surely was one of the most impressive ZX demos back in the days!
